Let the voting begin...

The HUB has always been a community-supported effort, and our recent Rebranding Campaign is no exception. Over the past few weeks, we've received hundreds of creative submissions for our new name via email and social media. After sifting through the serious, the silly, and the downright weird...we're ready to take the next (big) step in this process. Our team has selected what we feel are the Top 4 ideas, and we want your feedback!
Before you vote, we've listed a short explanation of each name below. Ultimately, we want a name that conveys the concepts of community, entrepreneurship, and innovation while sounding professional and fresh. Names are listed in no particular order.
Help us continue to build the entrepreneurial community in Raleigh by voting for our new name HERE. Voting will close on Sunday, July 7th at midnight. The new name will be revealed on Monday, July 8th!

Raleigh Roost
You won't find any birds here, but you will find a place for entrepreneurs to settle down and gather. The name conveys a fun, creative environment. Thanks to Brandon Houlihan for this idea!

HQ Raleigh
The "headquarters" is the center of an organization where the most important action takes place. HQ would serve both as a physical headquarters for many member companies, and for entrepreneurship and new ideas in downtown Raleigh.

The Mill
A mill is a place where people and machines come together to turn raw materials into value-added products. Not only is a mill full of power, energy, and creation, but the concept also ties into our local history in the textile industry. Thanks to Jorge Montezuma for this idea!

Platform H
A platform is a center of hustle and bustle, a place where you embark on your next big journey and meet others along the way. The H carries over our existing visual identity and could stand for words like "homebase" or "hard work." Thanks to Chris Sorey for this idea!

A special thanks to Chris Sorey of Wyrick Robbins and Jan Davis of Triangle Angel Partners for their generous and valuable mentorship throughout this process!
