We are excited to announce a newly formed partnership with the Wireless Research Center of North Carolina, an incubator in Wake Forest that enables inventors and corporations from around the world to develop cutting-edge wireless devices. Through this partnership, our organizations hope to increase impact in our shared mission of innovation and economic development. Both HQ and WRCNC are dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs by providing resources and access to experts in various industries, and by forming a partnership this support network will inevitably grow.

Through this relationship, the WRCNC will gain access to a burgeoning community of entrepreneurs and will be recognized as a vital resource provider in the field of technology, patents, and intellectual property. WRCNC will also play an integral role in helping our community become a regional model of wireless connectivity.  Says HQ Co-Founder and Executive Director Jason Widen, “We are excited for the new opportunities this partnership will provide.  As one of the most innovative centers for wireless research in the world, the WRCNC will provide our community with access to valuable expertise and technological advancement.”

Larry Steffann, General Manager at WRCNC, is excited to see the additional momentum this partnership will create. Both organizations share a belief that “the quality of the entrepreneurship ecosystem here in the region is dependent upon start ups being built upon intellectual property,” a concept that is at the heart of the WRCNC’s Patent Lab. “The companies we are incubating in our facilities will create numerous high growth job opportunities and return for our community,” says Steffann.
