HQ Raleigh and Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network to Partner in 2014
HQ Raleigh is excited to announce a continued partnership with Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network in 2014. Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network has been a Founding Member of the entrepreneurial co-working space since its opening in October of 2012, and will continue to be highly involved after HQ Raleigh relocates to the Warehouse District. The partnership is particularly exciting given the recently announced fundraising success of 2013 Blackstone portfolio companies, which you can read more about here.
This collaborative partnership will enable Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network and HQ Raleigh to provide a broader network of support for Triangle entrepreneurs. Each organization brings valuable resources, mentorship, connections, and expertise that, when combined, will allow for increased entrepreneurial opportunities across the Triangle. As part of this association, Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network will maintain a physical location at HQ Raleigh. Their office suite will be accessible to five chosen Blackstone companies as well as the Network’s Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, who help to mentor and scale Blackstone startups. Current Blackstone portfolio companies who work at HQ Raleigh include Sanitation Creations, Novocor Medical Systems, and Daylight Digital. Additionally, Blackstone EN and HQ Raleigh will collaborate through initiatives like office hours, programming, and various sponsored events during the year.
Says Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network Executive Director, Bob Creeden, “HQ Raleigh continues to find innovative ways to grow and support the Triangle entrepreneurship community. We were proud to help sponsor many of HQ’s programs in 2013 including NC DataPalooza and to mentor startup teams participating in the nation’s first-ever regional open data competition. We have enjoyed partnering with HQ Raleigh and look forward to our continued collaboration to provide great support and create economic opportunities for Triangle entrepreneurs.“
